St. Elmo Dining Room & Bar is a restaurant situated right next to a hotel, and has view over the hotel's pool from the back, which is unfortunately unusable by patrons of the restaurant and is reserved only for hotel-goers. A booking is recommended during the later hours, as the place is usually fairly busy. All the food served at St. Elmo Dining Room & Bar is designed very much like a tapas bar in Europe, except, instead of paying for what you eat, you order servings of food portioned in sizes like tapas. The food is very good, but the portions are small. The price is also a little bit over the top for just tapas. St. Elmo Dining Room & Bar offers an excellent selection of alcoholic beverages, but make sure that you have your ID with you, because you will be ID'd by the staff, even if you have adults supervising you at the same table.Overall, a very nice yet expensive place to have dinner with friends.

This was one of the best Tapas places I have been too. The food is fantastic & full of flavour. They have a great selection of cocktails so make sure you dont leave with out trying the Mediterranean Mule.

The restaurant is well set out with a mixture of formal seating and informal dining, if you want a formal table booking is definitely required. We walked in so ended up sat along the bar, which for me adds to the Tapas experience, there was 3 adults so we went for five Tapas which was absolutely more than enough especially if you have a sweet tooth and an eye for desert. The staff were excellent, friendly without been over familiar, the cocktails are made with love and the level of quality control I have only ever seen before in Raffles (Singapore). So top marks all round, its up there for dining so relax and give it a go......we shared a sweet. Bloody delicious.

Loved it! We didnt have a booking and the place was packed. The lovely staff found us an awesome table with only a 5 min wait. The service was great, our wine was topped up regularly. The food was great! Especially the ceviche! The roast pumpkin was amazing- but we thought there was too much in the serving.Maybe halve it and lower the price by a couple of bucks?Great selection of wine too! I recommend anything by Patrick Sullivan.Next time were in Byron well be back.

The food here was absolutely amazing. The staff were quick and understanding. The music worked very well with the lighting. The main thing was the food. I ordered 6 dishes for $50, and they were absolutely mind blowing, from the porks tenderness, to the flavour of the potatoes, there was nothing not to love about this restaurant,
