Great surfing beach with a point that offers great views of the ocean and Byron. Parking is often very crowded but it's not a far walk from Wategos or the main beach.
Quiet beach compared with main beach Byron Bay. BBQ areas & tables near beach and at the grass area next to car park. Speaking of car parks, you may have to wait for a spot and it is a paid parking area. Amazing view from Fisherman's lookout.
A beautiful place to spend the day. BUT it has deceptively dangerous surf conditions. Talk to experienced locals before heading out into the surf. Go to Main Beach to swim between the flags unless you are a very strong swimmer and know how to read the water for signs of danger. Stay safe!
One of my favourite beaches. Amazing waves, but need patience with parking and the amount of people trying to surf.
Such a great little spot to spend the day! Good relaxed vibe, very clean and good facilities. Theres a cafe on top which does a decent iced latte and iced coffee too.
