They'll have you upload a good review (perhaps the only reason they have 5 stars on google) in exchange for a "good price" which happens to be just slightly above the average price other agencies offer (according to others backpackers I met). They also put a huge stand on the customer service but don't expect them to help you when you're at it as I tried to call them twice during my trip and they never even tried to help me. In other words, there's plenty of other agencies around Byron, avoid this one.
We had a great experience with Matt! He was very informative and answered all the questions we had. He was also very friendly. 10/10 would highly recommend this place.
What a fantastic team at backpackers Byron bay especially Matt H who spent a lot of time organising the new horizon boat trip for us. We even changed our minds about 5 times and Nobody minded, they just want to make sure your trip is right for you. Love the way the shop works its really simple. If your stuffed with ideas on what todo in Byron bay head over and they will fill your mind with lots of ideas.
Big thank you to Matt for sorting out our trip! Everything was perfect even though we were very late with booking everything. Matt helped us to find the perfect tours which suited to our wishes. The customer service was outstanding! Definitely recommend booking your trips here =)
