We stayed on a powered site for a week during the busy summer holiday season. Facilities were nice and relatively clean. I would say that bathrooms could be cleaned more often, but they were okay. There are two areas with powered sites. One has its own facilities block and one does not. If you're camping like we were, I'd highly recommend staying at the one with a facilities block. We were not so lucky, and it's a bit of a walk, especially with little kids. But the campground was quiet, and friendly. Only one instance of someone driving very irresponsibly in the campsite on our last night.Unfortunately, the pools and jumping pillow are not covered and get full sun. Being more sun smart would be a great improvement.
You get what you pay for however you can get much better quality for this price elsewhere.Location was not too bad and the staff members at check in very friendly. We loved the 9pm music off rule. The park was really quiet after 9 and the guests were very respectful. The park is old, outdated and dirty. We had a tent site which was really small (no space for our car) and stunk of urine. There was dirt and dust, hardly any grass left. The kitchen was really dirty, full of birds and insects. The fridge was overloaded and leaking water everywhere. Bathrooms were not to bad however some showers need fixing (no water or broken shower heads). At the end of the day there was no toilet paper left and the toilets were quite dirty.I would really recommend looking somewhere else as this isn't the best place for your holidays.
No hot water at the amenities block for the duration of the stay. We had one less person than booked but would not refund because that's their "policy". It's recommend that if you really need to stay here book for one person and let them figure out that they need to charge more on arrival. There's no benefit to being honest and upfront in the first place with this lot.
Terrible Amenities, not enough, dirty, broken, no hot water in main block, regularly run out of toilet roll and hand wash, blocked toilets and urinal. The sites are a good size and nice and shady and it is an easy ride into Byron. Could be a great site if they fix amenities
Stayed in a Deluxe Safari Tent. 2 adults, 2 kids. Plenty of space. Nice clean space. Park facilities were good. Kids loved the water park and pool. Id stay again if in the area.
