HORRENDOUS, AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE! I sold my house via them in East Ballina when they were operating under the Elders brand and they were UTTERLY dishonest throughout. Husband and wife team, both unpleasant and unprofessional. They even tried sneakily invoicing my solicitors for a higher fee than agreed at the end! Despite atrocious service. Their underhand extortion attempt was thwarted. VILE! Excellent agents would be McGrath Ballina who kindly helped fix much of the mess Harcourts created. Harcourts even managed to break the balastrade on the stairs during a viewing and made me pay for it, what were they up to in there?!
Our family has just had a most amazing journey in selling our house through Harcourts and Brett Mc Donald. From our very first phone call we have had such good times and so many laughs. Who would have thought that a business deal like this could have been so much fun. At all times Brett listened to us and our unusual requests, responded quickly and communicated . That was the best bit , he always communicated , kept us updated and in the know at all times.We had quite high expectations of what we would get for our property , where others tried to talk us down Brett's response was " I believe in this house." I asked him why he laughed at me. His answer "They don't have a record in this area."Well I knew that they did and if they didn't they sure as hell have a record now. Our place, three of our friends, one of our neighbours.All within the time frame of our house settling.
Stay clear of dealing with this place!I had a two month rental booking confirmed and pay for then Harcourts cancelled this before I moved in. They tried to charge us an extra $4000! Dodgy business and dishonest people.
